On friday the 3rd of July, DVLA management announced that there are no planned office closures and no plans to reduce headcount. As you can imagine this came as quite a surprise to many of your PCS reps, who only weeks earlier had been asked to sign up to a gagging order for an indefinite period of time before management would agree to show us their proposals. Why would management ask for a gagging order of reps and then maintain status quo?
